Planning ahead is not morbid, and it is not a sales appointment. It is a conversation about what you would like, written down so your family never has to guess. Many people tell us afterwards that it was a relief.

No inflation — prices are guaranteed for as long as you live
The price you agree today is the price your family will pay, whether that is next year or in thirty. Funeral costs rise over time; a pre-arranged plan does not.

No out-of-pocket expense for your family
Everything you have chosen is arranged and paid for in advance. Your family will not be asked to find money at the hardest possible moment, and there is nothing to settle afterwards.

Transferable anywhere in Canada
If you move, your plan can move with you. Upon acceptance, it can be transferred to a funeral home anywhere in the country, so a decision made here is never a decision that ties you here.

Meet one of our directors at the funeral home, in your own home, or over the phone. Bring questions, bring family, or come alone. There is no hurry, and nothing is decided in the first meeting unless you want it to be.
Your wishes, written down
We record what you would like — and just as importantly, what you would not. You will see what each choice costs before you decide anything, and you can change your mind at any time.
Paid for and protected
If you choose to fund your plan, the amount is guaranteed and held securely on your behalf. The price is locked, your family is protected from the cost, and the plan is transferable anywhere in Canada.
Kept on file, ready when needed
Your plan stays with the funeral home, and copies go to whoever you choose. When the time comes, one phone call sets everything in motion exactly as you intended.

Is planning ahead only for older people?
No. Many of the families we help are in their forties and fifties, often after arranging a parent's funeral and deciding they would rather spare their own children the same decisions.
Do I have to pay for everything now?
You can record your wishes without paying anything at all. Funding the plan is what locks the price and protects your family from the cost, and it can be paid in full or in monthly instalments.
What happens to the money?
Funds are held securely on your behalf, in accordance with Alberta's funeral services regulations, and are only used to provide the arrangements you chose.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. Wishes change, families change and towns change. Call the home that holds your plan and we will update it with you.
What if I move away?
Upon acceptance, your plan can be transferred to a funeral home anywhere in Canada. Where you retire does not have to be where you planned.
Will my family know what to do?
We will give you copies of your plan for the people you choose, and we keep the original on file. When they call, we will already know what you wanted.
